Good Thnx delivers biggest thanks yet

Good Thnx, the world’s first peer-to-peer thanking platform, has dedicated a national outdoor campaign to say thanks to its supporters, following a donation of nearly half a million dollars worth of advertising space to the charitable organisation by APN Outdoor.

The platform, developed in Adelaide, uses a simple premise: when someone does something nice for you (the Good), you can reward them by sending thanks plus a small donation to a charity of their choice (the Thnx).

Co-Founder, Shannon Poulton, says the Good Thnx platform enables people to reward and reinforce good deeds: “The simple idea of embracing the power of gratitude and appreciation will act as a positive behavioural loop, encouraging more acts of kindness, and more rewarding of good behaviours, and on it goes,” says Poulton. “So when APN Outdoor kindly offered their support to our cause, it made sense for us to use the space to say thanks to the people and organisations that helped make Good Thnx possible.”

The campaign started by saying thanks to Good Thnx interns Brian and Younis, and will say thanks to a different individual or organisation every day for a period of 3 months, which will include some of the platform’s early adopters and APN Outdoor themselves.

Says APN Outdoor General Manager Marketing, Janine Wood: “APN Outdoor is very pleased to support and assist in getting the word out about this brilliant initiative. Good Thnx represents the innovation and lateral thinking that APN Outdoor strives to embody and we are so happy to be able to offer our inventory to share the Good Thnx story with Australia. We look forward to seeing the growth and exciting trajectory of this business and wish the founders the best of luck.”

Leveraging its full-service creative:media agency model, the Good Thnx outdoor campaign was made possible with the support of Cummins&Partners SA who helped broker the outdoor deal and directed the creative execution.
